Local Police Departments Keeping Drugs Off The Streets

Volusia County, FL - A traffic stop in Edgewater this morning leads to the arrest of one man with 3 pounds of meth. Earlier this week, it was Ormond Beach Police arresting a man who was cooking meth in the woods near North Tymber Creek Road.

Edgewater Police arrested 53-year-old Guillermo Arteaga during a traffic stop for traveling 80 miles per hour in a zone posted at 45. He also had an open warrant. Guillermo's also charged with Grand Theft of an Automobile and Grand Theft over 20-thousand dollars.

On Wednesday, OBPD found 41-year-old Wayne Thomas Oeller (today is his birthday) in a wooded area near North Tymber Creek Road. They also found two tents, one of which contained small bottles with white residue, and a pot actively cooking meth.

Both men are in the Volusia County Jail. Arteaga is being held on no bond. Oeller's bond is set at one hundred ten thousand dollars.
