Bunnell, FL - A man already jailed in Flagler County gets an additional eight counts of child pornography possession around four months after his initial arrest.

26-year-old Jazzpen Lee Leonard was arrested just a day after his birthday on May 28th for domestic battery, criminal mischief and sexual battery. But, that sexual battery charge was later amended by the Office of the State Attorney to unlawful sexual acts with certain minors.

The victim was a pregnant 16-year-old, and Leonard is the father of their unborn child.

After his arrest, Leonard was additionally charged with violation of injunction on three separate occasions after contacting a different victim not related to the first case. He remained incarcerated at Flagler County Jail, serving a sentence for two of the three violation of injunction charges.

However, during the course of their investigation, detectives recovered nine video recordings from the juvenile victim's cell phone. The recordings clearly showed the victim and Leonard engaged in sexual acts, while Leonard is observed recording some of the videos himself.

Earlier today, Judge France signed an arrest warrant for eight counts of promoting sexual performance by a child. The warrant was served to Leonard while he remained in custody at FCJ. The bond was set at $120,000.

“Evidence shows that Leonard knew that the victim was underage,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said. “He completely took advantage of her and exploited her. I hope the courts take this case seriously and send him to prison for a long time.”

According to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, Leonard has a lengthy arrest history in Flagler, dating back to his juvenile years. Previous arrests include domestic violence, lewd molestation on a victim under 12-years-old, possession of marijuana and failure to appear among other charges.
