International Speedway Gears Up For 29th Annual Spring Daytona Turkey Run

Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Beach International Speedway is getting ready for the 29th Annual Spring Daytona Turkey Run, which brings thousands of classic and custom cars, a swap meet, food, and arts and crafts for the whole family, to the area.

The Spring Daytona Turkey Run is open to the public and will take place at the Speedway on the weekend of March 23 to March 25. The event will include an Artisan Alley as well as the Soundcrafters 32nd Annual Spring Break Nationals, a car audio expo and sound competition.

“We’ve worked hard to create an event that truly has something for everyone,” Barbara Kelly, General Manager with Daytona Turkey Run says. “Whether you are a long time auto fanatic or just looking for an affordable day of fun for your family, the Spring Daytona Turkey Run is the place to be!”

The Turkey Run will bring in thousands of vintage, classic, custom, muscle cars, race cars, and trucks on display and for sale. The swap meet will feature vendors looking to sell and trade hard-to-find auto parts and accessories.

Some other highlights of the event include:

  • Celebrity Guest Rachel De Barros, from “All Girls Garage” on the Velocity Channel, on Saturday, March 24 from 10 AM - 2 PM.
  • Hops and Hoods Beer Festival, where adults can test more than 15 different local, craft, and domestic beers on Saturday, March 24 from 12 PM - 4 PM. Beer tasting tickets are $5 for five samples and $10 for 12 samples. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on site. Advanced tickets include special Hops and Hoods parking.
  • Live music: Enjoy the musical sounds of “The Ben Carter Band” on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 from 10 AM - 4 PM.
  • The Kids Fest and Kids Dash: the largest traveling obstacle course in the U.S. and Quad Power jump trampoline. Kids ages five to 11 can also take part in the Cops and Kids Dash on Pit Road, where they compete with members of the local Police and Sheriff's Departments for photo opportunities and medals and sprint toward the Victory Lane finish line.
  • Centennial Chevy Truck Celebration: Check out a vast exhibit of Chevy trucks from across the years, including the 2018 Chevy Centennial Edition.
  • Annual classic car parade lap around the track: Registered show cars will enjoy a lap around the Daytona International Speedway track on Sunday, March 25 at 2 PM.

The Spring Daytona Turkey Run is presented by White Diamond Detail Products and sponsored in part by Spectrum, Scootaround, and Miller Lite. Admission is $10 Friday and Saturday and $5 on Sunday with free parking. Children under 11 are free when accompanied by an adult. Show hours are 8 AM to 4 PM on Friday and Saturday and 8 AM to 2 PM Sunday.
