Holly Hill, FL-Police are recommending a criminal charge against the woman who owns two dogs involved in the attack that killed two neighbor's dogs, including one inside the home where the dogs killed lived. Holly Hill Police Chief Captain Steve Aldrich says the owner, 26-year-old Christina Speicher, was responsible to confine her dogs to her home or immediately notify Animal Control if the dogs escaped confinement, which she failed to do. The dogs got out a window of her home and then attacked two dogs at a neighbor's home. One of the dogs killed was inside the bathroom of the home. One of the dogs found inside the home had entered through a doggie door. The other dog was killed in the yard of the home. The charge recommended against Speicher is Attack by a Known Dangerous Dog which is a first degree misdemeanor. The dogs had been deemed as dangerous after an earlier incident involving a dog bite to a person. The dogs got out a window of Speicher's home and then attacked two dogs at a neighbor's home. One of the dogs killed was inside the bathroom of the home. One of the dogs found inside the home had entered through a doggie door. The complaint affidavit has been sent to the State Attorney's Office for review. Aldrich says the two dogs have been euthanized. The photo with this article is of one of the dogs involved.
