Holly Hill, FL - The Holly Hill Fire Department and the Volusia County Fire Rescue, along with a Hazmat team, spent most of Monday clearing up a chemical spill at a local distributor of pool equipment. Holly Hill Fire Chief Jim Bland said that pallets holding muriatic acid collapsed on Monday morning at Horner Express, which is located in a light industrial area. A shelter in place at 100 yards around the structure was issued and Bland said that order will remain in place for a few hours. Police officers closed State Avenue between 15th and Flomich at about 11 A.M. Hazmat crews went into the building at about noon.
