Daytona Beach, FL - The father of Casey Anthony is transported to the hospital in serious condition following a rollover accident on Interstate 4 in Volusia County.
Florida Highway Patrol says that around three o'clock Saturday afternoon (November 24th), 67-year-old George Anthony (left) was traveling westbound on I-4 approaching Mile Marker 122 when he traveled off the right shoulder. That's between the exits of U.S. 92 and State Road 44.
Troopers think Anthony tried to swerve his 1999 Toyota 4-Runner back onto the roadway and that's when he lost control, flipping the vehicle several times before coming to rest off the median shoulder.
According to the report, Anthony says he did not remember what happened prior to the accident.
He was airlifted to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach in serious condition.
