Daytona Beach, FL - An Ormond Beach resident and former Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University professor is looking at 15 years behind bars.

Two months ago, 61-year-old Mark Fugler was found guilty on three counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition to a victim under 16, three counts of lewd and lascivious conduct and three counts of showing obscene material to a minor.

Then, just earlier today (August 15th), Fugler was sentenced to 15 years in a state prison facility for all nine of the counts.

According to the State Attorney's Office, the child victim originally came forward in 2016 with information that Fugler showed them obscene material and exposed himself on multiple occasions. In addition, Fugler attempted to have the child touch his genitals.

When he's released in 2034, he will have to register as a sexual offender.
