Orange City, FL – Florida Hospital Fish Memorial (FHFM) in Orange City announced that it has recently distributed more than $5,000 in clinic supplies to 23 schools in western Volusia County. On January 31, the hospital donated almost $5,500 worth of gloves, bandages, tongue depressors, and hand sanitizer to area elementary, middle, and high schools. “Kids shouldn’t have to worry about being sick in school,” said Florida Hospital Fish Memorial CEO, Rob Deininger. “When kids are healthy, they can be more active and engaged in the classroom. We hope this donation makes a positive impact on the lives of students.” Since 1998, FHFM has annually donated clinic supplies in an effort to keep the county’s children healthy. In the last 20 years, the hospital has expanded its donations from 17 schools to 23 schools. Pictured above is the FHFM materials management team load.
