Flagler Beach, FL - The Florida Department of Transportation is set to hold a public meeting to discuss repair solutions for State Road A1A in Flagler Beach, which was severely damaged by Hurricane Matthew.

The meeting's scheduled to be held from 2:30 to 6:30 PM on Thursday, December 15, at the Flagler Beach City Hall at 105 S 2nd St. “This is FDOT’s official kick-off of the process to develop a permanent solution for State Road A1A,” said County Administrator Craig Coffey.

FDOT's working on a study of A1A from S 28th St south to Osprey Dr. That study will include the temporary improvements that are already in place, and it'll build a list of more permanent repair options.

People who want to participate in the meeting should contact Jennifer Smith, FDOT District 5 Title VI Coordinator, at 386-943-5367, or via email at jennifer.smith2@dot.state.fl.us.
