FDOT Holds Tentative Five-Year Work Program Public Hearing

DeLand, FL - The Florida Department of Transportation is holding a week-long virtual public hearing on its Tentative Five-Year Work Program beginning tomorrow. Find the link here.

You can learn about proposed projects for Fiscal Years 2020 through 2025 and provide input. The online public hearing is available 24 hours per day. Informational material will be available for viewing, along with opportunities to provide comments.

The public can provide input on roads, bike paths, sidewalks, and other FDOT plans during the virtual hearing all this week or in-person on Thursday, October 24. The proposed improvement areas are Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, as well as the nine counties that form District Five: Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia.

FDOT staff will be available for a traditional meeting on Thursday at the District 5 Office on South Woodland Boulevard in DeLand from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m
