FCSO: Suspect Arrested In Child Molestation Offense

Palm Coast, FL - A man who is wanted for molesting a child is arrested by Flagler County deputies.

Flagler County Sheriff's Office was initially contacted regarding a sexual offence in Palm Coast back on January 4th. They were told that a child reported that a family member had molested them at their home.

The mother of the victim told deputies that when she confronted the suspect, 38-year-old Sam Andolina, he said that the child had been molesting him several days prior.

When asked why he didn't disclose this to the mother, he replied that he didn't want there to be an awkward situation in the household.

However, according to the narrative, Andolina asked the victim if she liked boys. She said no, which is when Andolina took her into the bedroom and exposed himself, telling her to engage in oral sex.

The victim's older sibling reported to deputies that in the days after the molestation, Andolina would linger around their bedrooms as if he was afraid to leave the children alone.

After the allegations were reported, Andolina left the area and moved to Cape Coral, Florida.

Deputies tried multiple times to speak with Andolina in order to let him give his side of the story, however he kept declining.

Last Thursday (September 6th), an arrest warrant was made against Andolina, charging him with sexual battery and lewd molestation. He was later arrested in Cape Coral.

Andolina has since returned to Flagler County and is currently being held at Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on $150,000 bond for sexual battery, engaging in sexual conduct with a minor 12-18 years old and lewd molestation.
