Bunnell, FL - Investigators hope for some public help to find the robber who pointed a gun at two gaming center employees and pistol-whipped one of them.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday (October 28th) at Dakota Joe's on South Old Dixie Highway, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly says his agency is also looking for whoever was behind the wheel of the getaway vehicle parked at the front of Dakota Joe's, believed to be a dark-colored newer-model Nissan Altima with chrome wheels and tinted windows.

"Thankfully, no one lost their life in this incident, but we do have one victim with serious head injuries," Staly said. "As this investigation continues, our hope is to quickly identify the suspect and his driver."

FCSO released three images of the robber (gray hoodie pulled over his face) and vehicle. All are posted above this article.

According to the incident report, a 47-year-old female employee and her 50-year-old male boss were leaving the front door of Dakota Joe's for the night when the robber came from "beside the building" with a silver-colored handgun and pointed it at them.

The suspect forced both employees to unlock the doors and go back inside Dakota Joe's when they told him they didn't have any money, at which point he then took cash from a slot machine after forcing one of the employees to open it.

Per the report, that's when the male manager resisted the suspect and the suspect then hit the victim over the head multiple times with a gun until he fell to the floor. That's when the female managed to grab her cell phone and called for help.

The robber ran out of the business and into the passenger side of the getaway vehicle with at least "two bags" of cash, which then fled on Old Dixie, possibly heading west. The exact amount of cash in the bags wasn't made clear in the report.

FCSO describes the suspect as a black male who stands around 5'8 and weighs around 180 pounds. Besides the hoodie, he also wore dark plaid shorts and white Nike shoes.

Anyone with information is urged to call FCSO at 386-313-4911 or call Crime Stoppers 888-277-TIPS to remain anonymous and possibly be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.
