FCSO Asks Citizens To Help Name Two New K-9 Officers

Palm Coast, FL - Two members of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office have gone into retirement recently and names are needed for their replacements. K-9 Marko and K-9 Tag will leave the force once the newbies are fully trained.

Two new K-9 officers have joined the FCSO thanks to Dr. Caesar DePaco, Honorary Consul of Portugal to the State of Florida. He donated the dogs when he learned of K-9s Marko and Tag's pending retirement.

The two new K-9s have been assigned to Deputy Rob Tarczewski and Deputy Aaron Beausoleil. You can see a video introducing the K-9s by clicking on this link.

You can submit your name suggestions on the FCSO Facebook page or by email to NameThatK9@flaglersheriff.com

The submission deadline is Sunday, August 18 with the new names being announced on Monday, August 19.
