UPDATE: FHP has identified the man killed in this accident as Giancarlo Agnoletti. The investigation into the crash is still open.
Oak Hill, FL - Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that a 67-year-old man from Nashville, TN is the victim in a fatal accident in Oak Hill last night.
FHP responded to a call at 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Kennedy Parkway and U.S. 1. Reports sat the man was traveling southbound on Kennedy Parkway when a deer crossed his path. The deer hit the front end of the 2002 Honda scooter the man was riding, ejecting him from the scooter. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin. The crash remains under investigation to determine if there are any mitigating circumstances in the crash.
