Pine Hills, FL - A 19-year-old prisoner who fled during work detail nearly a month ago is now back in custody.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office confirms that Trayvion Stephens was re-arrested in the Pine Hills area of Orange County with help from the local Sheriff's Office.

Stephens - who was initially in custody on a charge of trespassing in an occupied structure - disappeared around noon on April 30th in the area of Florence Boulevard in DeBary.

At the time of his arrest, he was wearing dark green pants and a lime green shirt with the letters VCDC - standing for Volusia County Department of Corrections - on it.

Several buildings in the area were placed on lockdown initially as deputies searched for Stephens, including two schools and Florida Hospital Fish Memorial.

Volusia County Jail records show Stephens has been booked at least five times since March 2017 on a variety of charges, including trespassing, grand theft, petit theft and burglary.
