E-Cig Robbery Suspect In Custody; Facing Charges For Multiple Crimes

jail too Orange City, FL - The suspect in the January 6 armed robbery of an E-Cig store in Orange City has been arrested. 56-year-old David W. Strickland was taken into custody on Friday morning. Volusia County Sheriff's Office investigators identified him using surveillance images, witness descriptions, and license plate reading technology. He was tracked to a home on Harwick Lane in Ormond Beach where investigators executed a search warrant. Strickland is also the suspect in several other robbery cases throughout Central Florida. He's facing an armed robbery charge for the robbery of E-Cig Source in Orange City, and several other charges in an unrelated residential robbery he's suspected of committing on the same day. That was at a home on Fergason Ave in Deltona. He's being held at the Volusia County Jail without bond. Earlier reporting of the E-Cig Source robbery can be found here. strickland-mug
