night police lights 1 Deltona, FL - A Deltona youth mentor and counselor was arrested on Monday night and is accused of molesting a 12-year-old boy. The defendant, 31-year-old Nathan Gorzelanczyk, has a history of mentoring children, and investigators are worried there may be other victims. The investigation began a week ago when the 12-year-old victim told his therapist that Gorzelanczyk molested him several times over the past year. Gorzenanczyk had been mentoring the boy for awhile and had been taking him to church activities, to go play tennis, and he had been buying the boy gifts. While at Gorzelanczyk's home, the boy said he was molested on several occasions and he said Gorzelanczyk had shown him porn on his phone and computer, with most of the images involving young boys. Gorzelanczyk has been mentoring youth as a counselor at The Journey Church in Orange City and at the Florida United Methodist Children's Home. Gorzelanczyk admitted he had recently been fired from the Methodist Children's Home, but he didn't give a reason for his termination. Witnesses said that Gorzelanczyk also mentored neighborhood boys and brought them into his house, offering to give them piano lessons or to play video games with them. All of these facts have led investigators to suspect that there may be more victims out there. Corzelanczyk has been charged with 1 count of lewd or lascivious molestation and is being held at the Volusia County Jail on $50,000 bond. Investigators seized property from Gorzelanczyk's home on Monday night while serving a search warrant to see if he's in possession of child porn.
