Deltona Woman Shot Multiple Times During Domestic Quarrel, Boyfriend Turns Gun On Himself

Volusia County, FL-The victim in a domestic shooting is in intensive care but listed in stable condition. VCSO reports that Terra Lynn Wilcox, remains hospitalized at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford. Her boyfriend, the deceased shooter, has been identified as 34-year-old Earl James Pallasch.

Earlier reporting: A domestic quarrel early this morning ended with a woman being shot and taken to the hospital with multiple injuries.

Volusia County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at around 12:30 A.M. to a residence in the 1100 block of Michael Avenue. The victim reported that her boyfriend had busted out her car windshield with a chainsaw, choked her and threatened her with a gun.

The woman got away from the home to make the 9-1-1 call. A few minutes into the call, the victim started screaming that the boyfriend was coming at her with a gun. The call-taker heard gunshots and the woman said she had been shot.

Deputies arrived on scene at 12:35 A.M. and found the woman bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds near the intersection of Cary Street and Worthington Drive. She was transported to Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford.

Deputies found the body of the alleged shooter with a shotgun on the ground beside him in the woods at about 6:08 A.M. VCSO reports that the man appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.Traffic in the neighborhood was blocked off and residents were warned to stay inside until the area is secured. Residents were informed they could come out around 8 A.M.
