woman handcuffs arrest 1 Deltona, FL - A 30-year-old Deltona woman is facing charges after she assaulted churchgoers at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness, resisted arrest, and then threatened and spat at a VCSO deputy. Deputies were called to Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness at 717 Fort Smith Blvd in Deltona at around 7:21 PM on Tuesday, December 13, in reference to a fight. When they arrived on scene they found an intoxicated woman, later identified as Destinie Farr, causing a scene and assaulting churchgoers. To try to keep anyone from getting hurt, deputies attempted to physically subdue Farr, but she didn't make things easy. She resisted and after a brief struggle deputies were able to get her in handcuffs. However, Farr's feet had to be put in a hobble restraint because she kept resisting deputies and kicking the door of the patrol car. While Farr was being put in the backseat, she spat in the face of one of the deputies and made threats towards them. An incident report states that Farr said, "I'm gonna slit your throat, you understand that? While you're sleeping." The report also indicates that Farr said, on several occasions, that she wished to die. Farr had come to the church with her 2 children who were there during the incident. When deputies asked Farr about family members that could take custody of the kids she was uncooperative. But deputies were able to find a family member who came to the scene and took the children. Farr's being charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, and threatening to do harm to a public servant. She's being held at the Volusia County Jail on $3,500 bond. farr
