online sex child sex DeLand, FL - A 28-year-old Deltona man gets 20 years in prison for having and sharing child pornography from his computer. Christopher A. Walls was sentenced on Wednesday after a jury found him guilty last January of 13 counts of child porn possession. He'll be placed on 15 years of sex-offender probation after he's released in 2036. Officials with the office of 7th Circuit State Attorney RJ Larizza say it all started in September 2013 when undercover investigators monitoring file sharing networks traced files suspected of containing child pornography back to Walls’ IP address. Investigators got a warrant and searched Walls’ Landover Avenue house on September 20th, taking 14 items into evidence from the home, including a laptop. Prosecutors say 13 photos and video showing kids engaged in sex acts were discovered on the laptop, with most of the kids appearing between 6 to 13 years old. Some were still young enough to be in diapers, according to Walls' statement to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. Walls confessed to downloading the files, according to Larizza. "The collection and distribution of child pornography promotes the recruitment and sexual exploitation of our children," Larizza added. "We will continue to seek lengthy prison sentences for these offenders." Walls had no prior criminal history, according to Larizza's office. christopher walls
