Deltona, FL - A Grand Jury in New Hanover County, North Carolina indicts a Deltona man for his connection to a 1996 cold case rape.
Last week (June 5th), 61-year-old Wayne Soller was arrested for the 1996 sexual assault of a woman in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Then, yesterday (June 10th), Soller was officially indicted for first degree rape, first degree burglary and first degree sexual offense.
Soller was arrested at his Deltona home thanks to the help of the Wilmington Police Department, US Marshal Service and the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
He's currently being held at the Volusia County Jail on no bond as he waits for extradition to North Carolina, under orders of a Volusia County judge.
Once he's extradited back, he'll make his first appearance at the New Hanover County Courthouse.
