DeLand, FL – The 24-year-old man police connected to a shooting at a DeLand bar ends up turning himself in.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office confirmed today (October 7th) that Wilbert Brown turned himself in last night (October 6th) at the Volusia County Jail.

A couple of weeks ago, a judge signed a warrant for Brown after authorities tied him to an altercation that took place outside of the Label Bar & Lounge off of Adele Avenue. In that incident, witnesses say there was a large fight outside of the bar when a young woman was shot in the leg.

Brown is now held in Volusia County Jail on no bond, charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, aggravated child abuse, three counts of aggravated battery and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
