DeLand Participates Again In National Citizen Survey

DeLand, FL – DeLand officials want input once again from residents as to how happy they are with municipal government services.

The "National Citizen Survey" - something the city participated in two years ago - is designed to provide city government a baseline on how well they’re performing for residents and how they compare with peer cities.

"Basically, we want to know how we’re doing in terms of serving our residents," says DeLand Community Information Specialist Chris Graham.

The survey - administered by Colorado-based National Research Center, Inc. - includes questions about the quality of life in DeLand, local policies, ratings of local government services and resident use of services.

For almost a month, DeLand has been mailing these surveys to residents based on a random sampling, but an online version is available for those who didn’t get a mailed survey.

The submission deadline for both survey versions is April 5th.
