DeLand, FL - A nearly month-long child porn investigation by the Volusia County Sheriff's Office ends with the arrest of a 29-year-old DeLand man.
Phillip Harper is free on $105,000 bond this morning (December 7th) after he was charged with 21 counts of possessing photos and videos of sexual performance of a child, according to Volusia County Jail records.
Harper had explicit photos and videos of girls between the ages of 4 and 12 at his home, according to VCSO spokesperson Laura Williams.
"Detectives with the VCSO’s Child Exploitation Unit began investigating Harper in early November," Williams added. "They executed a search warrant at his home November 12th."
Harper was taken into custody yesterday morning during a traffic stop, per Williams.
No other details have been released at this time by VCSO.
