Earlier Reporting: During a press conference held on Friday afternoon, police announced that they had arrested a 21-year-old and 2 juveniles in connection to vandalism at DeLand High School. Officials say Brandon Carver, a 17-year-old, and a 15-year-old are all facing various charges including criminal mischief, burglary of a structure of less than $1,000, and causing damage of more than $41,000. It's now estimated that around $100,000 worth of damage was done at the high school. The three were arrested on Thursday night following police interviews. It's not yet known if the trio also broke into DeLand Middle School, where two golf carts were taken for a joyride and tools were thrown onto the track the day after the high school was vandalized.
