DeLand, FL - Authorities briefly evacuated a DeLand business after a bomb threat was phoned in.

The DeLand Police Department was on scene soon after the threat was reported at Kingspan Insulated Panels on Summerhill Drive around 2:15 PM Wednesday.

City of DeLand spokesman Chris Graham says the business received a call from a male about a bomb being in the building and hung up.

"Nothing suspicious has been found," Graham added. "Employees have been allowed back in the building."

Graham also noted that the investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
