DBPD Will Hold A Prayer Vigil For Mass Shooting Victims On Monday

Daytona Beach, FL - In light of the recent mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Daytona, Ohio, along with other mass shootings everywhere, the Daytona Beach Police Department is inviting the public to come together for a prayer vigil on Monday, August 12.

The vigil, which will be led by DBPD Chaplain Monzell Ford, will take place in the second-floor community room at police headquarters. Ford said, "This will be a short and powerful service."

Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry, along with other members of the Daytona Beach City Commission and local community and spiritual leaders are expected to attend the prayer vigil on Monday, August 12 at 6 p.m. in the second-floor community room at DBPD headquarters.
