DBPD Looking For Person Of Interest In Fatal Stabbing

UPDATE: The person of interest in this case is now identified as a suspect in custody. He is 50-year-old Joe McCants. The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Thebese Radkin. More information as it becomes available.

Daytona Beach, FL – Daytona Beach Police are looking for a person of interest in a fatal stabbing that happened early this morning (September 21). They are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest seen in the photo with this story.

Officers responded to the Citgo station located at the corner of W. International Speedway Boulevard and Dr. M.L.K. Boulevard at 4:37 a.m. Paramedics took the victim to Halifax Health Medical Center, where he was
pronounced dead. DBPD is not releasing the victim’s name at this time but confirm that he is a black male in his mid to late 20’s.
