Daytona Beach, FL - A father stabs his son and his son retaliates with an ax during an argument.

Daytona Beach police responded to the Sunoco gas station on 895 Nova Road after a report of a fight that resulted in a stabbing close to noon this past Monday.

That's where they arrested 60-year-old Allen Williams after he stabbed his son.

The investigation and narrative show that Williams and his son had been involved in an argument the night before, which continued after Williams spotted his son at the Sunoco.

His son was there making a delivery to the gas station when he was spotted.

Williams pulled into the parking lot and blocked his son's delivery truck from leaving. As he approached his son he pulled out a pocket knife.

His son noticed the knife and tried to distance himself from Williams by running around his truck and trailer.

Williams then soon caught up and slashed him.

When his son noticed that Williams was still trying to stab him, he grabbed an ax from the bed of Williams' truck and began to swing it at Williams, striking and cutting his arm.

The fight then spilled into the grass at the Sunoco as the two continued to fight.

Williams then tried to leave but instead was blocked by Daytona Beach police who had arrived on the scene.

Williams was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center and his son was treated on the scene.

He's being charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
