The accident scene is about 200 feet west of Beach Street and both vehicles were westbound when the biker was hit and then dragged to the 100 block of Fairview. The van continued to drag the bike to US 1 where the van went south.

The biker was dead at the scene. Police identify him as 42-year-old Rodger Martin, Jr. of Bunnell.
