Daytona Beach, FL- A 27-year-old Daytona Beach man is dead after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a car Friday night. The Daytona Beach police report said that Craig Devine was hit around 9:20 P.M. on Atlantic Avenue. Police are looking for the driver of a light blue BMW in connection with the case. Witnesses who were also riding with the group that Devine was in said they were eastbound over the ISB bridge when the BMW almost hit some of the riders.  Several riders chased the BMW south on Atlantic Avenue and through side streets at speeds in excess of 100 mph. The witnesses told police that the BMW turned around on one of the side streets and was headed northbound on Atlantic Avenue. The driver of the BMW allegedly swerved and hit Devine at about 60 mph. While some riders stopped to help the victim, another followed the BMW. Two men and a woman got out of the BMW at Goodall Avenue. The rider following was able to grab the female who was taken in by police for questioning. Devine was taken to Halifax Hospital as a trauma alert.  He was pronounced dead just after 10 P.M.  Daytona Beach Police searched the area for the two men that were in the car but did not find them. The driver of the light blue BMW is described as a light-skinned black male, around six feet tall and slim.
