A witness, Bobby Owens stated he was sitting on his back porch and had a clear view of Kimble approximately 25 feet from his porch. Kimble was seen throwing rocks and sticks at the dog. Owens stated the dog appeared to be lifeless at least three times.  Officer Connelly arrested Kimble, charging him with felony animal cruelty. The dog was taken to an emergency animal hospital by the animal control officer. The dog was seen by Dr. Roman Pilip who stated the injuries to the dog’s face and body had happened just before the drowning attempts. The doctor’s final report will be submitted into evidence.
