Daytona Beach Man Gets Mandatory Life In Prison For Circus Bar Murder

Daytona Beach, FL- A 25-year-old Daytona Beach man has been sentenced to mandatory life in prison. Ian Maddox was found guilty of first-degree murder for shooting and killing 27-year-old Corey Kiser outside the Circus Bar. Kiser was shot five times. Witnesses said that as he lay dying, he said, "Bird."  Bird is Maddox's street name. Maddox was also sentenced to 25 years after being convicted of attempted murder for wounding Bobbie Candidate.
