Daytona Beach Man Found Guilty of Nine Drug Trafficking Charges

jail prison Daytona Beach, FL-A Daytona Beach man faces a 25-year minimum-mandatory sentence after being found guilty on nine felony and three misdemeanor drug trafficking charges. James Arron Todd was arrested in December of 2013 during a traffic stop. Investigators noticed baggies of illicit drugs, including cocaine, opioids, and marijuana in plain view. Todd resisted lawful commands forcing a member of the task force to deploy his department-issue taser. After further investigations, officers found a realistic-looking BB gun, a treasure trove of illicit drugs and more than $1000 in cash on the defendant's person. No word on when sentencing will take place.
