Volusia County, FL-Crews worked quickly to get a handle on a wildfire near Barberville Thursday that grew to about 300 acres.
Officials say the Still Road fire is contained but VCSO is warning motorists to try to stay away from the area due to possible heavy smoke making visibility difficult in the US 17 and SR 40 area.
Florida Forest Service was being assisted by personnel including VCSO, VCFS and FHP. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
