Volusia County, FL-The Volusia County Council celebrates the opening of the new Houligan’s restaurant on Wednesday at one of the gateways to the Daytona Beach International Airport with a ribbon cutting at 4 P.M. Volusia County Community Information Director Joanne Magley said that the property is important to the airport.  Magley said there is a 30-year lease on the property. The annual amount is $124,000 or 2 and a half percent of gross receipts, whichever is greater. That money, along with property taxes, goes back to the airport. Magley said she's already gotten a sneak peek inside and that this location, which is 12,500 square feet, is the largest in the chain.  The restaurant officially opens May 22.
