Convicted Felon Arrested For Shooting At His Ex's Brother In Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach, FL - A convicted felon is arrested for firing shots at his ex's brother in Daytona Beach this afternoon. 42-year-old Arthur Shavers was taken into custody after police say fired several shots at the man at Bernard W. Smith Sr. Circle near 9th Street. The shooting occurred at around 12:37 p.m. Shavers is the ex-boyfriend of the person who reported the shooting. No one was hit by the bullets or injured during the shooting, according to police. Shavers was found at his mother's house by police soon after the shooting. The gun was also recovered.
