DeLand, FL - A Daytona Beach man, 30-year-old Patrick Bryan Gordon, is facing several drug charges after he was arrested over the weekend.

Volusia County Sheriff's deputies were alerted when they saw Gordon stopped window to window with another car in a DeLand neighborhood, blocking the road.

Reports say Gordon drove off, running a stop sign and turning into an apartment complex. Emergency lights were turned on and deputies could see Gordon trying to hide things.

The car smelled of marijuana. During the search, deputies found heroin, crack cocaine, cocaine, $1,525 in cash, a box of sandwich bags, and a digital scale.

Records show that Gordon served seven years in prison for cocaine possession. He'd only been released in September 2018.

During a strip search at Volusia County Jail, deputies found a large amount of crack cocaine and 17 prescription pills.

Gordon was charged with trafficking heroin, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of paraphernalia, three counts of possession of a Schedule IV substance with intent to sell, possession of a Schedule II substance with intent to sell and possession of crack cocaine.

Bail was initially set at $115,000. Court records show Gordon is out on $45,500 bail.
