Ormond Beach, FL - A police chase that went from Daytona Beach north to Ormond Beach ended when the driver, 42-year-old Michelle Wallace, hit an Ormond Beach police car.

Close to 6 p.m. on Saturday (September 8th), a deputy traveling eastbound on International Speedway Boulevard noticed a 2015 Chevy Impala with a BOLO.  The driver of the car had fled from Volusia County Beach Patrol last Wednesday (September 5th), Ormond Beach Police on Friday (September 7th) and earlier on Saturday from South Daytona Police.

The use of Stop Sticks was authorized.  The deputy applied them and a rear tire on Wallace's vehicle was deflated.

Wallace sped off with one flat tire westbound on ISB to northbound I-95, exiting in Ormond Beach on Granada Boulevard.  She headed westbound on Granada Blvd to Tymber Creek Road, turned right to Airport Road, where she turned right again.  Wallace attempted to pass another vehicle, lost control and ended up in the woods.

Deputies and police officers descended on the vehicle and Wallace was arrested without incident.  She was medically evaluated by emergency personnel.  Wallace did not have a complaint of injury and was transported to the Volusia County Jail.

A search of Wallace's vehicle located a baggie containing 1.6 grams of marijuana, another containing about one gram of crack cocaine, a digital scale and clear baggies used for narcotics distribution.  Wallace is charged with Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, Driving on a Suspended License, Possession of Cocaine, Marijuana, and Paraphernalia.

A check by the deputies found that Wallace was already out on bond for Burglary of a Dwelling, Felony Criminal Mischief and Grand Theft stemming from an arrest in January 2018.  She's also out on bond on other felony charges from New Smyrna Beach and South Daytona Police.  With all that, Wallace is being held with a No Bond status.
