Charges Pending In Overnight Shooting Of Ormond Beach Resident

Ormond Beach, FL- Charges are pending in a shooting that took place in Ormond Beach. Police are investigating the incident that took place Sunday night at an apartment building located at 450 Tomoka Avenue.  Ormond Beach Public Information Officer Keith Walker said in a press release that officers were dispatched at about 11:35 p.m. to that address in reference to the shooting. Officers arrived on scene to find one person suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was leaving the area and more than one person was detained. The press release stated that this incident is contained and all persons involved have been contacted.
