Car Donated To Disabled Vet, Beaten After Trying To Stop Men Torturing Turtle

Daytona Beach, FL – The disabled vet who was badly beaten after he tried to stop 2 men and a teenager from torturing a turtle in Daytona Beach was given a new car on Wednesday.

Daytona Kia Mitsubishi gave US Navy veteran Garry Blough and his family a 2012 Kia Forte. The owner of the dealership said he was moved when he learned the family didn’t have a car.

Blough could lose an eye and he has other permanent injuries from the attack, but he say’s he’s grateful for all the support he’s gotten and despite his injuries he doesn’t have any regrets.
