Daytona Beach, FL-Mike and Spyke have been reunited after an intensive search for the 22-year-old parrot that went missing during Bike Week. Spyke's owner, Mike Mularz, stayed in Daytona Beach looking for the parrot after she went missing from his motorcycle on Main Street on the final Saturday of Bike Week. Mularz said she was taken and insisted the bird would never budge from his motorcycle unless she was forced.

The parrot was recovered at the Seminole County Parrot Rescue. Mularz says an anonymous caller told him he had found the bird and did not want the $1000 reward offered for her return. The rescue called Mularz about the bird which is chipped and banded.

Mularz told WNDB News he raised the bird from the time she was two weeks old. He writes a column for a motorcycle magazine called "Mike and Spyke" and his Harley Davidson is painted like the bird.
