Bunnell, FL - A registered sex offender is in the Flagler County Jail after admitting being out of compliance for over a year. Flagler County Sheriff's deputies arrested 30-year-old Jeremy Dwayne Miller yesterday (June 21) after an investigation based on an anonymous tip.

The tip about a registered sex offender living across the street from the Apostolic Church of God, located at 500 North Pine Street in Bunnell, came in on May 23, 2019. Miller had registered a tent on East State Road 100 in Bunnell as his legal residence, and had confirmed the tent as his residence as recently as June 11.

Surveillance conducted on both the area of the tent and the address where the offender was believed to actually be living, indicated that Miller was staying at the unapproved address, across the street from the church.

Detectives with the Major Case Unit presented Miller with the findings of the investigation. He confessed to living out of compliance for over a year.

Miller was arrested and charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. His bond is set at $50,000.

Miller was designated a sex offender in February 2006, when he was 18-years-old. He'd been convicted previously for Failure to Properly Register as a Sex Offender in 2014.
