Volusia County, FL-Between Christmas and the New Years Day millions of us are traveling and lots of us will go to a holiday event and maybe have a drink or two. AAA in Florida is offering the free-no questions asked Tow To Go now until January 1st. AAA FL spokesman Matt Nasworthy says the auto group wants you to have a plan if you plan to drink and designate a driver or take a cab, but if you find yourself in a jam the free service is the answer. Tow To Go picks you up and takes your car to anywhere within 10 miles. You don't have to be a Triple A member to use the service and it's no questions asked.
Since its inception in 1998, Tow to Go has safely removed more than 24,000 impaired drivers from roads across the Southeast.
It is offered based on the availability of AAA drivers and tow trucks during times of high call volume. The Auto Club Group Traffic Safety Foundation provides Tow to Go to help keep all motorists safe from the dangers of impaired driving.
