Daytona Beach, FL - AAA is teaming up with Budweiser to make sure Floridians stay safe after their Independence Day celebrations.
And they'll do so by providing complimentary rides for drivers and their vehicles starting today (July 3rd).
The program is known as "Tow To Go" and was originally conceived in 1998. Since then, the program has removed more than 25,000 impaired drivers from the road.
It's also available for everyone, including those who are not AAA members.
To use the program, you simply call 855-2-TOW-2-GO (855-286-9246) and AAA dispatches one of their tow trucks to your location.
From there, the tow truck will transport you and your vehicle to a safe location within a 10 mile radius.
However, timeliness and availability is based on the availability of AAA drivers and tow trucks during times of high call volume.
Tow to Go may also not be available in rural areas or during severe weather conditions.
The program runs from today until 6 a.m. Friday (July 5th).
