Ormond Beach, FL - A 24-year-old Holly Hill man was killed early Friday morning when he lost control of his Jeep and crashed into some trees in Ormond Beach.
Richard Lee Depew was driving north on Old Dixie Highway in his 2016 Jeep north of Pine Tree Drive when he lost control of his vehicle and drove off the roadway onto the shoulder.
The jeep collided with several trees and Depew, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. That happened at around 12:30 AM on March 31.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
