Deltona, FL - A 77-year-old Deltona man has died of his injuries after being ejected from a motorized bike that was being towed by his fiancée. Raymond Bath was on the motorized bike that was being towed as it was taken to be repaired on Tuesday, according to Volusia County Sheriff's Office (VCSO). The bike was towed by 66-year-old Suzette Huber, who was driving a Ford F150. The couple was traveling east on Saxon Blvd. at around 2:30 PM Tuesday. The truck slowed down to turn onto Cranbrook Ave. During the turn, Bath was ejected from the bike, and he landed on the road. He suffered numerous injuries, including a head injury, according to VCSO. Bath was not wearing a helmet. Bath was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital immediately following the crash, and he died of his injuries on Wednesday at around 6 PM. VCSO says speed was not a factor in the crash, and there was no impairment involved either. There are no charges expected to be filed in the case. Copyright Southern Stone Communications 2018.
