Daytona Beach, FL - Complaints from neighbors have led to the arrests of seven people in Daytona Beach.

Members of the Daytona Beach Police Department's Crime Suppression Team made the arrests Wednesday afternoon (September 26th) at a home on the 700 block of Madison Avenue, around a half-mile southwest of Sunnyland Park.

DBPD spokesperson Lyda Longa says a warrant was obtained for those arrests.

"Six of the arrests were for felony offenses and one was for a misdemeanor offense," Longa added. "The bust was the result of continued enforcement fueled by neighborhood complaints of activities at the above-mentioned residence."

Police also took possession of two handguns and an AK-47 during the raid along with 309 grams of marijuana, eight grams of heroin, seven grams of cocaine and one gram of MDMA, better known as ecstasy.

DBPD hasn't released any other details at this time, including who was arrested. Those details could be released as soon as Friday (September 28th), per Longa.
