52-Year-Old Arrested After Fleeing Scene Of NSB Crash That Injured 2 Motorcyclists

New Smyrna Beach, FL – The driver accused of leaving the scene of a crash that injured two motorcyclists on SR 44 near I-95 in New Smyrna Beach has been arrested.

A 52-year-old man from Georgia fled the scene after he crashed his red pickup into a motorcycle at around 4:20 PM on Friday. Two motorcyclists were rushed to the hospital as trauma patients.

The 52-year-old was found and arrested at around 6:30 PM on Friday and now faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident with injury.
