5-Day Animal Control Officer Course Offered At DSC

Daytona Beach, FL - For those who love animals or would like to become an animal control officer, Daytona State College's School of Emergency Services will hold a 40-hour certification course.

There will be an emphasis on protection, care and humane law enforcement and promotion of peaceful co-existence between animals and people. The course is approved by the Florida Animal Control Association.

Classes meet Monday, March 6, through Friday, March 10, at DSC's Advanced Technology College, 1700 Technology Blvd. The course fee is $425 and includes all class materials and books, as well as a state licensing examination fee.
